If you open safes for a living
This directory is being built from scratch and deliberately slowly. Listing is free, it stays free, and nothing about your position in it is for sale. What we want in return is accuracy — yours and ours.
Send these, in one e-mail
- Business name, registration number and country The number is what we check first; everything else waits on it.
- City or cities you actually travel to Not “Europe”. The reader is standing in front of a locked safe in one specific town.
- What you do Opening, lock replacement, relocker repair after drilling, moving, installation and anchoring, combination changes, safe deposit work. Say which you do not do — that is as useful as the rest.
- Lock brands you stock parts for S&G, LaGard, SecuRam, dormakaba, others. This is the line readers use most.
- What you require as proof of ownership Answer honestly. It decides whether we list you at all.
- Insurer and liability limit Not published in full — recorded, and summarised as “insured”.
- Two references from safe work We contact them quietly before the entry appears.
- How you quote Fixed price, hourly, hourly with a cap. Published as a category, not as figures.
Write to desk@kitnerboyredoubt.com with “directory” in the subject. There is deliberately no web form: a form would collect data we do not want to hold, and this site keeps no database. Your entry can be amended or removed at any time by asking.
What you get
A page that ranks for the searches people make while locked out of a safe, an entry that names
what you actually do, and a link that does not disappear when we redesign something.
What you do not get: a badge implying we endorse your work beyond the checks on the
standards page.
